Duke Energy Progress Home Energy Improvement Program
Enjoy rebates ranging from $100 to $500 cash back for investing in energy efficiency!
- Attic insulation upgrade and attic sealing: up to $500
- High-efficiency heating and cooling system replacement: up to $300
- Duct repair and replacement: up to $190
- HVAC audit: $100
Duke Energy Smart $aver®
This program gives existing homeowners up to $600 cash back for a replacement heat pump, AC, or geothermal system.
Starting April 2016: There is now a tiered system where the cash back you receive is based on the SEER rating of your system; the more efficient your system, the higher your incentive!
You can also receive an additional $75 with an approved Quality Installation on qualifying equipment, plus an additional $125 on top of that when you install a smart thermostat.
Looking to save on monthly energy costs? Receive up to $425 cash back for sealing and insulating your home: $250 for attic insulation and sealing, and/or $175 for duct insulation and sealing.
Piedmont Natural Gas
Homeowners using natural gas appliances are also eligible to receive incentives–up to $225 cash back for installing high-efficiency water heaters and furnaces. Click here for full details.
