Third generation heating and cooling professional has big plans for the family business and for being a part of the community.

For almost 40 years the Stewart family has been providing heating and air conditioning service to residents in the Harford, Baltimore and Cecil county areas. Now a third generation is joining the team. 25-year-old Matt Stewart recently became General Manager at the family owned and operated business, One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning® based in Aberdeen. Stewart was born and raised in the Aberdeen area and is proud of his family’s tradition of customer service and quality work. There is a gleam in his eye and energy and enthusiasm in his voice as he talks about the past and the future of the company. “Our motto is ‘We Care.’ It’s the foundation of everything we do. We care about our customers, about their comfort, about our team and our community,” said Stewart.

The company plans to expand operations and is currently hiring technicians and installers. This will add jobs to the local economy. Stewart also plans to build on his family’s tradition of community service as he works to not only improve the lives of customers but also the community they have served for three generations.
