Sarasota, FL – One Hour Heating and Air, known for their on-time promise and drug-tested and background-checked employees, has entered into a strategic partnership with Hire Heroes USA. The agreement gives One Hour franchisees the chance to make job openings available to HHUSA’s database of service veterans.
The value of veterans’ special technical training, emphasis on punctuality and their experience working directly with the people of Afghanistan and Iraq in rebuilding efforts can’t be overstated. One Hour is proud to be able to assist the non-profit in its mission of reducing the number of unemployed veterans of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, which stands at a staggering 1.39 million.
The talent pool is a potentially invaluable resource for the more than 220 One Hour locations across North America. “Practices in all of our locations demand punctuality, discipline, drive, and an honorable track record,” One Hour’s president, Lenny Siers said. “Many of the veterans Hire Heroes USA assists will fit that mold, and in turn be able to help us franchisees succeed.
