As the warmest part of the year is getting near, the need to have the temperature just right and our homes well ventilated is becoming pressing. Summer is the time when we need our air conditioning systems the most – you can always put on more clothes in the winter to feel warmer, but you can only take off so much in the summer to feel cooler.

Cluttered Condensers and Bad Habits
The condenser unit is the part of your air conditioning system that will dissipate the heat it takes out of your home during the summer. It’s an important task, and you can help the condenser do it by simply keeping any clutter away from the condenser to allow sufficient air flow.
There’s also the matter of using your air conditioning system 24/7 of full power, or not using it at all in certain parts of the year. Using your A/C all the time will drain power and money, it can cause unnecessary wear to the system, and you might not even need that much cooling or heating. On the other hand, if you turn off your air conditioning systems during the winter, you would slow cook your whole home during the summer, or cause your A/C’s pipes to freeze.
