Matt McFarland, a lifelong resident of West Weber, Utah, grew up on McFarland Family Farms, a six-generation dairy and row crop farm. Under the guidance of his parents, Layne and Laura McFarland, he learned the value of hard work, integrity, and delivering quality products—principles that remain at the core of everything he does. The farm is well known for its sweet corn and fresh produce, a staple in the local community.

Matt dedicated two years to serving a mission for his church in Argentina, further strengthening his commitment to service and leadership. He later earned a bachelor’s degree in business finance from Weber State University, equipping him with the knowledge to pursue his entrepreneurial ventures.

For the past 25 years, Matt has been married to his wife, Sarah, who grew up in Kaysville, Utah. Together, they co-own the local franchise of One Hour Heating and Air of Ogden. Their family includes five biological children, a foster daughter from Guatemala, and three cherished grandsons.

Matt and his family are humbled each year as they travel to Tijuana, Mexico, over Thanksgiving with Builders Without Borders of Utah to build a home for a family in need. This experience has been a lasting memory for their family. A particularly meaningful moment for Matt was when his daughter Natalie, at eight years old, stood on a roof with a nail gun in hand and said, "Dad, this is better than Disneyland." That was an emotional moment for a very proud father who has worked to instill the values of service, hard work, and love for others in his children.

Outside of work and service, Matt finds joy in outdoor adventures, from snow skiing at Snowbasin Resort and mountain biking with the Bonneville High School mountain bike team to wakeboarding and surfing behind the family boat at Pineview Reservoir. Traveling is another passion, with favorite destinations including Belize, Maui, Moab, and St. George, Utah.

Deeply involved in his church and community, Matt actively serves in various leadership roles. His mission with One Hour Heating and Air is to restore honesty to the HVAC industry by treating customers with the same respect and fairness he would expect himself. He believes in providing clear options to help homeowners make the best decisions for their comfort and needs.

Jason Burt has been a dedicated professional in the HVAC industry since 2008, bringing over 15 years of experience in system design, installation, airflow optimization, and more. He spent 12 years with a single company, where he honed his skills and built a strong foundation in both technical expertise and leadership.

For more than a decade, Jason has been leading and managing teams, overseeing installers and service technicians while successfully growing multiple departments. His commitment to excellence is backed by industry-recognized certifications, including RMGA, EPA, and BPI. With a deep understanding of heating, cooling, and energy efficiency, Jason continues to drive innovation and quality in every project he undertakes.

My name is Jeremy, a 45-year-old veteran with a background as a Navy Interior Communications Electrician.  Since my service, I've gained extensive experience in both commercial and residential construction, earning multiple certifications in the home services industry, including EPA and RMGA. My passion lies in providing exceptional home solutions for clients, a driving force behind my daily commitment to excellence.

Korey is a dedicated System Design Specialist known for his honesty, transparency, and customer-first approach. He takes pride in helping homeowners feel confident and comfortable, whether he's solving a tough HVAC issue or recommending energy-saving solutions. As a proud father of two, Korey understands the value of a safe, comfortable home—and he brings that same care to every customer he serves. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and making the most of each day.
