The 'One Hour' in our company name indicates our guarantee to be at your home in the predetermined window quoted when you set your appointment. If we do not show up within that window, your service call fee is waived. 1. Express Appointment: This is an appointment that is scheduled during a specified one-hour time slot. You are promised that a technician will arrive at your home within this one-hour time window. You will also receive a call when the technician is en route to your home. 2. Reserved Appointment: This is an appointment that is scheduled during a specified, two-hour time slot. You are promised that a technician will arrive at your home within this two-hour time window. You will also receive a call when the technician is en route to your home. 3. Standard Appointment: This is an appointment that is scheduled during a specified four-hour time slot. You are promised that a technician will arrive at your home within this four-hour time window. You will also receive a call when the technician is en route to your home. 4. Stand-By Appointment: This appointment is for overflow situations. This appointment will not have a specified time. You will receive a call when the technician is en route to your home. 5. Emergency Appointment: This appointment is for an unspecified time after normal business hours Monday – Saturday and all day on Sundays/Holidays. It's ideal to service your cooling system each spring and your heating system each fall to ensure you find small issues before they become big problems.

Your filter should be changed every one to three months, depending on conditions in your home and your region's climate.

“Care was exceptional from both doctors and nurses for a middle of the night emergency. They did give me very effective treatment anfter X-rays and get me on my way quickly. Be forewarned, the cost was very high with insurance (BCBS). They started treatment before telling me copay even though I asked what my copay was up front. If I had waited to find out cost, I probably would have tried to find an urgent care , rather than pay ER copay. They did give me my choice of cold beverage from their well stocked fridge with my bill on my way out, though. Five stars for quality of care, though.”

“Situation Resolved - Had a technician go by a rental house in Robstown to diagnose and service the AC unit. Somehow some confusion ensued between the tenant, the technician, and my sibling regarding payment and approval for the service. This confusion was not the fault of the technician but I did have some difficulty communicating further with the technician that day in trying to resolve the matter since I did want the AC to be serviced. I contacted the office but the only people I was able to speak with were the schedulers who said he would pass on the message to a manager. I did not receive a call back from anyone that day and was extremely put off with the experience. The following day I got a call from Mr. Quintero, general manager, who was extremely professional and explained what happened on their end and also explained the day to day operational tempo that sometimes influences customer service. He then asked me what I needed done to resolve the matter. I appreciated the call back and recommend One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning for your AC service needs.”

General Manager

Bernie Quintero joined the Corpus Christi team as General Manager after Mark Wendland's 37-year career and retirement. Bernie's HVAC career started in Houston, TX as a Sales Manager, and through his hard work and leadership, he moved on to lead One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating of Corpus Christi.

Bernie is a Navy veteran and has a passion for helping his neighbors, community, and fellow veterans. He knows that without the support of his community, he wouldn't be where he is today. Because of that, he's instilled a motto of "doing whatever it takes to build client trust, and once a client is happy, he is happy!". Bernie looks forward to working and speaking with his new community, and his door is always open.

In his spare time, Bernie is a baseball fanatic and refers to the Houston Astros season as his reality show. He looks forward to attending the Corpus Christi Hooks game and settling in with all the outdoor activities Corpus offer, especially fishing!

Operations Manager

Keith Stinson is the Operations Manager for the One Hour team in Corpus Christi, TX.

Keith's HVAC career started in his hometown of Louisville, KY in 1997. Since then, Keith has worked in every aspect of the business, from Installer, Technician, Project Manager, Comfort Advisor, and Owner.

Searching for new adventures and opportunities, Keith and his wife Sheri moved to Corpus Christi in May 2020, and after many amazing experiences since relocating to the area, have decided to make Corpus Christi their forever home.

In his spare time, Keith enjoys playing guitar and singing with his band, along with helping friends work on their muscle car projects, barbequing on the weekends, and of course FISHING!

Janell Stence is the Office Manager in Corpus Christi. Janell brings over 20 years of Customer Service experience and Management experience to the team. She strives to maintain a happy workplace environment where her staff enjoys their job. It’s also important to Janell to provide customers with the best customer service experience possible! Juan Jimenez

Juan Jimenez began his career with One Hour Heating and Air (previously Wendland A/C) in April 1996 as an Install Helper. Since then, Juan went through several promotions as an Installer, Lead installer, and Install Manager. Juan continued to expand his knowledge in air conditioning and began training as a Comfort Advisor. For eight years, Juan took on the role of Install Manager and Comfort Advisor. And now, for the past two years, Juan has been a full-time Comfort Advisor. Juan has continued learning and growing within the company for over two decades.

Juan has lived in the Corpus area all his life and plans to retire here. Juan enjoys listening to music and taking long rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Juan has raised two sons in Portland and feels like this is a great community to live in. Juan also enjoys spending time with his family, especially his new granddaughter. Family is very important to Juan, which carries over into his work life. He treats each customer like family and offers the best option according to their needs.
